Underwater Hockey.

Yes, it's a real sport.

An exciting sport involving strategy, skill and fitness. Played at the bottom of a pool using snorkeling gear, two teams of six try to get the weighted puck into the opposing goal by using short curved sticks. The sport is low-impact, a good cross-training activity and offers an interesting break from other traditional sports. UWH is a great way to try a something new in the water and test your fitness.

The Toronto Underwater Hockey Club plays weekly at various pools across this big, beautiful city. Games are typically held Monday and Wednesday evenings. Newcomers are always welcome! We have all the gear you need, just show up with a swimsuit and you’re set. If you have your own snorkel gear that’s even better.
